MAX VOLPA – Multifaceted and versatile artist from the Marche region in Italy.
In recent years he has been exploring the fusion of painting and writing as forms of artistic languages and developed a series of works, widely appreciated for their artistic originality and social value. Amongst his exhibitions, the following stand out: “Ten plus ten: four-hand fairy tales”, “Whispers of Infinity,” “Listen to the sea”. He published different books, his most relevant include “Barrierandia – when small details become major obstacles”, about disability issues in urban contexts. Currently, the public collection of the Italian Consulate in New York hosts his artwork for the exhibition “The Light in Shadow”, conceived and created in memory of the victims of 11TH September 2001, while the Gallery of the Ministry of Culture in Santiago, Chile, exhibits a series of his works on the theme of migration.
